Blue painter's tape. Black Duct tape. 30seconds and 30cents. With Lamin-Xed lowbeams, I didn't have to do anything to drive at night and there was no bright blue to say "HEY MY LIGHTS ARE TAPED" incase cops had anything to say.

$110 for two nights in Motel 6 for two people. (me and gf)
$80 pix CD. I wasn't planning on buying the CD, but these guys are pro photographers and usually do motorsports, but branched out to driving schools. Plus, my first real event I felt good and comfortable at, I wanted to remember it.
$$ Lots of Gatorade.

Overall: Priceless.

I just picked up some purple painters tape for the upcoming event. Will that look any less gay than the blue? Doubt it.

Robert, you know you should do the October one. My new shitbox will be well sorted by then. Only thing it may not have by then is the GCs. Getting the clutch done while I am away on vacation. Eyeball arms going on after I return, as is the new exhaust.

Other than that, and keeping my car passing tech.....save for more entrance fees. At least doing Rites, May NASA,
and Bluegrass next year. Want to do Gingerman as well. (friend just got home from an awesome weekend there).

Dave, *maybe*. My car seems to be complaining after this abuse. If I get the driveshaft done on the eta and it smelling good I can do the tranny mounts, RSMs done on my car, and try to tie down any other problems (like where is the oil on my tranny wind deflector coming from?).

There may be a local dyno day the 6th so I hopefully with have M30 AFM worked out by then.

Most pictures I resized using whatever crappy image software is stock on my work laptop.

BTW I'm one-upping you, 375lb/in springs are coming in. :P Our front roll is just stupid, I thought it was the blown Konis but even with the brand new ones I'm still fighting this front softness.

IE's were backordered and I found Bimmerworld's "upgraded" units and thought maybe they'd be better than stock and not as harsh as IE's. Although I had them just before the school, it wasn't a real big concern and I'd rather just be ready to go. Or I just spent time with the GF.

I'll install them somewhat in the near future as well as the GC RSM's. (FUH RAZE). I've been lucky my stock RSM ones haven't failed.....and one of the guys I knew there had to replace his inbetween sessions at the school. One of my friends has 3 E30s and I'll go over to his place as his airtools will make the RSM much easier.

Oh well, fully-employed people will know how it is to try to get a moment to do this stuff. And then I have school. So at least I have a secondary car so I can try to get ready for October.


Jay, ahhaha. It is stupid amount of roll. But I think 475 + m3-endlinks should be an improvement as well.

Dave, no word back from my buddy with air-powered spring-compressor.....will try my other friend. But try best to have them for next Friday.
