    my zinno 535is

    its been two months since i traded my e30 (which was also my daily at the time since i wasnt tryin to drive the lifted xj around for obvious reasons) and ive been going through BMW withdraw ever since. love the bike dont get me wrong, but after having turned my jeep into a daily, and switching from bike to jeep, still had the bmw bug and had to itch ...

    1988 Zinnoberrot 535is
    191,000 miles


    Clean title. The guy who owned it before me he replaced all the cooling system components. I have receipts from the owner before him from 1999 and 2000 (around 130,000 miles) new cam shafts, idle speed regulator, fan clutch, R&R head, belts, rear crank seal, pilot bearing, clutch kit, machined resurface of flywheel all which were done at a Bmw specialty shop.


    ENGINE/INTAKE/EXHAUST
    Jim Conforti chip
    Stainless steel exhaust, header back catalytic converter delete (small leak in muffler next to output pipes)
    K&N air filter
    HD green motor mounts
    New exhaust clamps (< 1500 miles)
    New exhaust hangers (< 1500 miles)
    New Bosch distributor cap and rotor (< 1500 miles)
    New valve cover gasket (< 1500 miles)
    New spark plugs (< 1500 miles)

    NEEDLESS TO SAY i am thrilled :-)

    glad to be back in a bmw, this is my first e28, and the car is a blast to drive. needed a comfy good on gas daily and this with all the parts on it is just way fun. :-) no more 9 miles a gallon daily for me anymore THANK GAWD!
