Slick and regular tires have different writings, on a 215/40/17 40 would mean 40% of 215mm, while on the racing slicks 240/610/17 610 means 610mm from 240mm. Those are Yokohama Advan used in the WTCC series.

^^Yes, its probably different due to your location. Most slicks here (that I've messed with anyway) have been measured in inches. For example, a 10x24.5 10" wide, 24.5" tall
