got my miller MAF and KAMOTORS intake hooked up. pretty good difference. better throttle response, more top end it feels like.

thought i was the shit driving home, so when a late 90's vr6 rolled up i thought i had a chance lol. 2nd gear roll we walked me, everytime. but it was fun. good shit!

next up is straight pipes and headers tomorrow.

You can beat a VR6 with bunch of work to the M20. But to build up the M20 to beat the MK3 would cost about the same as a M50 swap. Because my brother has over 2,500 in his 2.8 full race stroker that I am building. And we are HOPING for 210ish. Yeah 2,500 is a lot of money. But everything is new and machined and we did TONS of stuff that was not even needed one bit.

The MK3 makes VR6 models make 170ish to 188. There is a 2.8 and 2.9 engines. I did a BUNCH of researching on them when my brother was looking to buy one(MK4 200hp).

with the whole exhaust setup there is a pretty good difference. you feel it in the top end.
with the KAMOTORS intake/miller MAF/93octane/free flow exhaust it definately makes a HUGE improvement...like night and day.

fitment, the shop got them in no problem. yes it is very tight in there. thats why i let the pro's do it.

Agreed! The tails on it now are waaaayyyy too dark. Maybe some all reds.

Love this car. Only complaint is that when the windows are down it is pretty hard to have a conversation ;)

Oh, and could use some new seats.

Get a chrome kidney grille if you want to keep your headlights un-smoked. I'd also put some all-red tails (or factory looking ones) on. And please wash your car!

And I think the all red tails would look good as well, but I know you like the ones you have now. Driver's choice, whatevs. Devon, if you want to swap kidneys let me know though :)
