on my first civic they did some work on the window for me, but that was 4 years ago, and very minor work, so im not sure about the shop...im gonna let my inner detective do some work and try to get to the bottom of this....im just super bummed and unmotivated at this point. I just got my car back up and running this past satuday in time for g-fest, and it only lasted 3.5 days :[

from the post i take it this was a 318? how early was it, did it have the battery in the front? if so might have pushed the hood to the point that it was touching the bat and with all fluids all under the hood there is your fire. but sorry to see the car the way it is.Comment

Ya pretty much looked at it as an ample opportunity to instill some jive into this young mans life.
"Its preparations are concealed, not published. Its mistakes are buried not headlined. Its dissenters are silenced, not praised. No expenditure is questioned, no rumor is printed, no secret is revealed."

Sucks that it happened, just got into a bit of an accident myself. I would definitely investigate the fire and make sure the shop isn't trying to screw you. Gluck, get another and build it bigger and better.Originally posted by csermonet47Vlad, you are handling this quite unprofessionally.
Also, you are a cock with tacky taste.
That is all.Comment
