For those of you who saw my previous post about the project I got this Saturday, here's pics to go along with what I was talking about.
First, the trunk, here's both corners under the decklid which have a small amount of rust for the age.

And the spare tire hold in the trunk/trunk pan which show no signs of rust (there's a 14 inch spare that came with the car from another e30 that doesnt match the other 4 basketweaves that came with it) and also what looks like rust is actually just where it's really dirty and just needs to be cleaned.

Now the exterior shots, I focused on what I didn't like about the exterior to show but there's a lot that I love about the car as well.
This is the previous owner's horrible attempt at smoking the tail lights and the impact rubber on the bumper showing it's age which I absolutely hate. You also can't see it in the photos, but the previous owner also laid down caulk in the top of the headlights as sort of a gasket instead of just replacing the gaskets, which I plan to do

Bit of rust I talked about that was behind the left rear window, keep in mind this is the largest spot of rust that has been found on an almost 30 year old car.

This was me just taking side shots to compare the trim on the driver's side of the car and the passenger's (I had just finished blacking out the trim on the driver's side)

(The spare that doesn't match the weaves is on the back right currently)

This is just a shot to show the deteriorated weather stripping on the driver's window, and where I missed a spot on the trim :/

This was for a shot of the rough shape the bumper is in

And now the bad part, the interior..

And last, the m10b18 which is really showing it's age but seems to still have a lot of life left
previous owner cut a vacuum hose which he said was used for exhaust recirculation..

Could not say exactly what these two wires are for, the airbox is missing and my hopes are it's for that, truth is this is why I need a manual for this engine..

Already have a replacement ordered for this rig..

The MAF sensor is literally hanging because it cant reach far enough to be mounted where it's meant to go on account of the rig above^^

And this is a shot of the area where the oil leak seems to be coming from (Right under the idle control valve) it only leaks when running at a considerable rate and it isn't a severe leak it's just annoying and messy, problem is with it being a leak that is coming from oil pressure it seems, there's no telling where the leak is coming from, previous owner told me front main seal but I can't be sure. Also I know the engine bay is sloppy/messy,etc but I didn't get this car with the intentions of it being clean and I plan on undoing the negligence brought on this car so meh.

All in all, this is what I have to work with and I don't feel like $600 was a bad price to pay for what I got, a running car that I've always wanted and that I'm now hoping is only going to get better from this point and now I'm asking for this community's support in keeping momentum in my project, this is me saying to you that I'm looking forward to progress and reaching a point when I look back at what I started with and can really appreciate my effort in how far this car goes.
