    1987 325e w/ Michael Irvin's Bill of Sale

Just bought another 325e, stumbled on this one in the back woods of a pretty rough area near Dallas.

Black on Black.... and now the good stuff

It has over $20,000+ of maintenance history
(done mostly by Bavarian Motors here in Dallas)
PERFECT body condition, not a single spot of rust,
every book that it was sold with,
Original bill of sale and signed papers (paid cash by check all in full)
(bought by a Michael Irvin at a BMW dealership in Dallas TX)
    full tool kit,
    perfect interior (except cracked dash)
Working radio/cassette player with Security code
    full set of 15x8 Borbets
    Original Window Sticker
    Accessories handbook,
    arm rest w/ cup holders,
    mint manual sunroof
Engine bay SOooo clean i would eat off of it
As well as the underside of the car

Oh! and the ECU recall had been done and have documentation

    did have some bad though:
Shocks and struts need to be replaced,
passenger side interior door handle took a dive
hood latch release on the inside is broke (acquired screw driver mod)
    could use better speakers

    pics to come tomorrow

the goal will eventually be 2.7i turbo, fat rubber, but i feel all the other stuff should come before the engine gets out of hand

    SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED

if you're not a football fan look up michael irvin, very famous wide receiver for the dallas cowboys super bowl teams from the 80s/90s.

he definitely would have paid for his cars in cash...you may have stumbled onto a very interesting piece of history there.

What is football? Can you explain what a wide receiver does? What is this mystical sport you speak of. We're probably not sure who this hall of fame player is :)

haha yeah im looking into it actually
Lots of signed papers by a "michael Irvin"
may or may not be him, but i do know he drives an e30 M3 and this car
seems to have been bought around the same time he was signed onto the cowboy.

Mooost likely nothing, but would be pretty cool

considering all the info he presented in the first post (dallas + the name michael irvin + paid for in cash), the connection immediately jumped out at me.

since he made no mention, i assumed he wasn't a football fan and figured i'd mention it.

it's clear you did though, judging by your excessively long and smartass response.

^^ yeah thats his current M3, seen it driving around before out here (as far as i know)

paid price was a little more than 23k, and its really damned close for when he officially announced playing for the cowboys before all the crazy money, but still crazy money.

                            Mint? Seriously?
Looks like a good find with that service history, but it appears that it hasn't been cared for in some amount of time.

You sure about "not a single spot of rust".... might be surprised when you look harder. I know I was when I first got my cabrio lol.
