Ha, I was actually going to post in that thread today! I always remember that it exists on tuesday night after the fact.

Is it still going down with this weather? I'm getting a rattle from my front-right suspension so I doubt I'm going to drive it anywhere but to the shop as it is, but I still want to do the meetings. Was thinking that we could do a trivia team potentially since we intrinsically have a sort of group and it's indoors.

Yeah, they are still happening, we moved it from Dick's to Red Robin at Northgate a month ago so it's inside. That's a good idea though, I'll talk to kid325e and maybe we'll do something like trivia one night.

Yeah. I don't really go to local meetups as I don't even have an e30 anymore but I'd like to see your car at some meet at some point. I dream of an lsx something when I graduate.

I'm prototyping my mounts for putting an Android phone with Torq where the check panel used to be so I can grab engine stats, the user-experience (as it were) is going to be pretty sweet in the next month or two.

Very awesome. I hope to cross paths with you in the future when my bank account goes from (loans) to $$$.

I know you do software design (at least I think, something related) which is very awesome for car applications.

Perhaps there is a way to incorporate a personal phone device into more of the car as well. I know some guys are capable of doing a lot of things with carputers.

I drove down to the picnic with Garret (owner of the 357), and he brought his car into the shop during the build, but we haven't really hung out otherwise. I've got a 362 badge that I made out of e36 bits but have mixed feelings about putting it on the trunk. For the most part it just lives in the glovebox.

It's a rebuilt E30 3.07LSD, actually. PM me for the deets as to who built it. It's got a 5yr warranty and was about half what Metric Mechanics wanted, and had the guarantee to boot.

It was especially handy to go rebuilt because the speedo plugs in through the diff.

I think we know the same guy ;). Mine is a rebuilt 3.46 with 40% lock up but I am tempted to try out a 3.91.

No dont...I had 4in straight pipe and it was crazy loud.

what rear end gearing are you running btw?

Do you have any out side sound clips of the car?

Unfortunately the only one is in my garage, not in a lot or anything. I have a goProHD, I just haven't gotten around to doing anything with it.
