Haha, thanks for the support, guys! Just got an MTech2 steering wheel from Latvia of all places, will make sure to put up pictures when it's in.
Just bought the tools to start prototyping the tablet integration too!

Doood. Love the LS3 setup. Friends at home in the SF Bay area that build Mazda FDs have moved from LS1 to LS3 and now onto LS7s. Your e30 sounds sick. I've only driven an FD with an LS1 and can't imagine what it feels like in your e30 because... I felt like super man drivin in the FD :) Hopefully will drive the newest FD with the LS7 in two weeks! Looking forward to following your mods on the LS3.

If I had that car...I would hug and kiss the engine every night before I went to bed.

It is sooo easy to make big power on LS engines. Just a cam swap alone can be a huge gain. I hope yo one day do my own LS E30

As much as it removes my cell phone from its cradle, my father's glasses from his head, and generally changes your angle of seat pretty well, the more I drive the car, the more I think that it should be going quicker.
After I add an Android phone running Torque to the center display (up top), a tablet to the center stack, and redo the leather int., I'll have to think of some tuning that can be done without taking out the entire engine block. We haven't done any mods to the LS3, so I imagine that there's a lot more room for it to gain some HP/torque.

@Wh33lhop, you're more observant than I, second gear it is!
The instructions from the E30 LS1 didn't quite work out since 1991 was a peculiar year, but I actually wasn't there that day, my understanding is it wasn't too bad to get going. Pretty plug/play, it was just a pain finding the right things to plug. It definitely didn't take any software changes.
I was actually questioning what it was rev'ing at vs what the numbers are on the guage, but running it into the rev-limiter in that pull (and confusing myself something awful in the process) just about convinced me that it's lined up right.

If you haven't changed the gearing from the other videos, i's a second gear pull.
This thing is fucking insane. Of all the things to be curious about, how did you rig the tach to read accurately?

Thanks for the kind words, guys! Like I said, if people want to see other stuff with it, just let me know!
@cg138: I'll be there! Might be a little late since that's a little bit out from my fair Greenwood.

Damn, this is impressive. I would love to see your car.
A bunch of us in the Seattle area goes to Dick's in North Seattle on Tuesdays to hang out. I don't know if we're doing it this week (people are complaining that it's getting too cold). People are thinking of replacing Dick's with a warmer, indoor event. Once we've got it figured out, you should bring your 362is out!
