    E30 M3 and E30 325is pictures

Here are some pictures taken this past weekend of my '90 M3 and the "90 325is that I used to own. I sold the 325is to a good friend of mine when I purchased the M3. He has now become really involved with the car and is having a lot of fun with it! After we took these pics we took both cars out on a 'spirited' drive on some curvy country roads-lots of fun! If I can ever find time to properly clean it up I will post some pics of the '97 M3/4 I bought a couple of months ago. The 325is now has 190k miles, and the M3 has 107k. Not too shabby for the age and mileage!

That 325is is absolutely superb. I wonder what wheels are on that car? Maybe Ronal LS?

Anyways, both look incredible, I wish my 318is could look like that. Wow I can't say enough. Oh and that M3 is hot too haha..... ;)
      Reminiscing...

Thanks for the comments! Yes, those are Ronal ACT-LS wheels. I wish I could own both cars since the 325is is so much better for daily use, but oh well....that is the way it is.

Eric, I love M3's but that 325is is absolutely phenomenal. Are those 16" or 15" wheels? What size tire? Stock ride height or lowered?

            Looks like alot of fun

I love black e30's, especially is models. Personally, I think that 325is would look especially nice with tinted windows, smoked tail lights, turn signals, deleted side markers and black euro ellipsoids. Regardless, they are both really sweet cars!

Both are very very clean and gorgeous.

I'm sure you miss the 325is, but the M3 is probably damn sweet!

Damn, wish there was a better way to put those cars are absolutely beautiful! :P

                    Eric-

                    Beautiful Cars :) I am lovin' the 325iS w/ the ACT-LS'. Are those E28 M5 rims on the M3?

                    Very clean cars!

Those look like E30 M3 16" Evo basketweaves, sort of like these...

Once again, thanks everyone for the compliments-they are really appreciated!

Now, to answer a few of the questions that some of you had-

The Ronal ACT-LS wheels are 15x7.5 with a total offset of either 28 or 29 with the included spacers. They were purchased in 2001 before Ronal had their final production run of the ET25 wheels with the deeper lip and no spacers. The tires are Toyo Proxes FZ4 in 205/55 size. It has E30 M3 springs with Bilstein Touring struts/shocks. I installed all of these upgrades while I owned the car. My friend has a few more things planned for the car in the future as time and money permit. One of them is a rebuild of a spare M20B25 that I have sitting around. We plan to do a full rebuild, possibly in a stroker configuration, starting within the next year. Some other upgrades we have talked about are E30 M3 seats (or at least getting the current seats recovered), M-Tech 2 steering wheel, euro ellipsoid headlights (or Cibie CSR's-not sure which yet), Koni single adjustable shocks/struts with possibly a different set of springs, and maybe finally installing the M-Tech 2 bodykit that I have (partially) lying around. I sold the sideskirts and rear spoiler, but those are relatively easy to purchase.

The E30 M3 does have the 16" wheels from an E28 M5 with Sumitomo 225/45 tires. IMO, these are the wheels BMW should have included on all M3's as standard equipment. Other upgrades on the M3 are Korman oil pan baffle, Korman strut tower brace, H&R springs, Bilstein sport struts/shocks, and a Dinan ECU chip. All of these were installed by the previous owner, except for the H&R springs. The modified Eibach Pro-Kit springs he installed made the car WAY too low (and stiff) for street use. I had to replace them with something a bit more streetable. When money allows, I want to replace the Bilsteins with Koni single adjustables. The car would be just about in perfect condition if I had some PDR work done and had the driver's seat bolster recovered.

I just won an M-Tech 2 steering wheel on ebay, so that will be installed soon. The only other thing I would like would be some euro ellipsoids.....hmmm-I just need more funds!

Nice looking rims! The Evo rims are very nice looking too but $$$$, the E28 M5 rims are more practical 8)
