Ride height adjustable depending on thickness and number of matresses.

    Win.

If lucky, the E36 will die peacefully, in its natural habitat, and be given the prestigious honor of donating its parts to an E30

Thule roof rack is your best bet... That thing has been so useful I moved from NY to SC in that car with almost 1,000 pounds of weight in it. I had a bin on top of the car.

Yeah I had to do that just to make sure it wouldn't fall off hahaha. I had the sunroof open so I knew it was sliding forward.

LOL, glad I'm not the only that believes that the E30 can be a multi-purpose vehicle.

I was just going to run out and try to price a Thule rack just for a similar need (the house needs a ladder). You sir, have just sealed the deal.

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

Often times, I'm not a big fan of the Ms because most of them, tend to be garage queens but my hat's off to you for making it work like it's meant to.

I know what you mean. A roof rack works wonders! People were laughing at the site of a queen size bed on my M3.

Loaded a couple of coupe doors (thanks, 328ijunkie) on mine, wish I had a pic of it, but I don't, so it didn't happen.
