Ok so I have wanted a 91 318is for a long time. I was looking on local craigslist the other night and I found this one. The guy had a shop and was selling for a customer. He works on Ferrari's and Porsche's now and no longer services Bmw's. He said the car had zero compression when he tested it. So I'm guessing it has bent valves and God knows what else wrong... The sensible side of me wants to find another m42 drop it in and dd it. But the other side of my mind wants to pull the complete drive train and swap in an s52 with a zf and a 3.25lsd. What do you guys think is it worth it to put that much into a car that is not mint and just ok here are pics as is right now. I will be doing a serious detail and try to bring that white back out again. The good news is no serious rust the body is straight and because it's a 318 its a 5spd...
