Racks are super handy. I used mine to haul two Coupe doors home, the rest of my car was filled with E30 parts from the same donor. And I used it to haul a set of weaves home from Portland, that I purchased from a member here.

yup. my dad has a road bike and i want to pick one up so it would be handy for the e30 to have a roof rack since driving through the canyons to the beach would be more fun than driving the truck

Yeah, they're very versatile, but I was trying to say that they don't really add any aesthetic appeal to the car. Yeah, sure, the E30 may not be the most aerodynamically designed car, but at least its got some 'sporty' roots that roof racks take away from, in my opinion (i'm sure many of you can agree). I love my roof rack for its versatility, but when I see another good looking E30, I feel as if I'm driving a bro-mobile. Cars look good though gentlemen.

well we came from the junk yard and i was able to yank this off a taxi there and convinced them to sell it to me. i will be having a use for it for the upcoming picnic though. but i usually use my rack for my bikes, and miscellaneous gear when going camping, etc.
