(newest shots on pg. 5)
Hi everyone.
I'm new to this forum, but I've been around BMW's all my life... this is my third E30 and I've had eight BMW's altogether. (I'm 24)
A friend of mine called me a while ago, saying that her great grandmother is selling her great grandfathers car, and that it's a BMW. With her unable to give me any further details (she only knew that it was an old BMW) i made the trip over to her great grand mother's house to have a look at it.
What I found blew my mind... A completely original E30 83 323i. They only made this particular version of the E30 for less than one year (with 139hp on paper) Less than 80 of these cars still exist in Germany today. It only has 70K Miles. It's all original. Always garaged. Never driven in the winter. No rust, no dings, no scratches, no tears. Everything looks almost brand new.
The great grand mother is 93 years old, before she stopped using the car altogether she only used it to go grocery shopping. Still, the car went in for inspection at the local bmw dealership every year and everything that needed to be replaced due to the car sitting around alot was replaced with original parts. There's nothing non-factory on it, it even has an oem bmw oilfilter and battery.
A few E30 fanatics here in Germany have come by to have a look at the car, all of them told me that E30's in this condition rarely even exist in Germany.
Enough talking... have a look:

perfect interior:

rare brown tinted factory glass:

perfect paint:

original 1983 sales invoice with a list of all the factory options it came with... (one of them being a passenger side rear view mirror :) )

even the windscreen is still original, along with the engine break in instructions for the first miles...

here's a shot of my daily: 1 series hatch...
