      Off next week to get spanking new engine management from Link and tuning - then turbo time.

      Yeah I know some people like the M1 wing better.. but I don't have one and I like M2 better :)

              Great to see someone doing proper engine management BEFORE they start doing serious engine mods.

                Well perhaps not entirely true - we used a 2.3 head on the 2.5 block (new pistons everything lightened balanced etc) and found motronic didn't go so well with raised compression. It still goes fine and has more torque than other 2.5s - just lack of top end and leans out.

                The plan always was to get the ECU and turbo though. Will be interesting to see what using a MAP sensor and mapping the fuel/ignition properly will extract out of the engine in N/A form.
