    My $200 Project car.

I've been kind of at a stand still with my latest project so I figured I would go ahead and make my first build thread. The motor was blown due to a snapped timing belt when I received the car. Lucky for me I had a 2.7 block and a 2.5 head left over from previous builds sitting in my garage. I had also received a wiring harness and a lot of spare i parts from one of the motors I purchased. The car has passenger fender damage and clear coat is peeling off most of it. But the a/c is all there and supposedly works, also fresh tint, and six disc changer. So I ordered a upper and lower gasket set, water pump, and timing belt kit, and got to work.

Then I figured out I had to order a new one of these. Which was the first set back.

And today I figured out the machine shop forgot one of my intake gaskets I know I can just put the motor in the car without the intake but its friggin hot outside and I don't really feel like putting the intake on inside the car. Then I tried putting on the fender that was thrown in with my bumper surroundings and realized that its a cabby fender. So I called the dealer for the one gasket and it should be here Wednesday. Then I'll put on the intake and stab the motor. Other than that I'm waiting for the first to come around. Then I'm purchasing a whalboro fuel pump, a new fpr, and some ebay (yes ebay) headers. I have a set of ellips and one of Lukes 12'' boxes that I need to get covered. I am also planning to save up and buy the Jom coilovers just to have a little fun with the car. I have more ideas for later but for now this is going to be a dd and I don't want to do too much just yet. I'll update in a few days.

Oh yeah buy my wing! http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=215285

Small Update: My fuel pump is in, the motor got stuffed yesterday. The headers came in yesterday. I got them fit but one flange needs just a little tweak to work. Besides that everything is looking good! I made what I believe to be the final parts list to at least get this thing running and just got back from getting them all. I'm just waiting for it to start cooling off so I can get back out there and start wrenching. Sorry I'm no picture whore but here's one of the motor in the car.

SHE RUNS!!!!!! Now I need to clearance the floor pan for my exhaust, install new csb and re-install the drive shaft, install "i" oil filter adapter and cooler, and then connect the coolant reservoir, fill and bleed the coolant system, and try and drive this thing. I hope to have it around the block by Monday.

Thanks man I've had about 6 e30's the first of which was a four door and I've wanted another ever since.

This is why I dont fuck with may-pops anymore.

Anyways just another small update. These OBX headers have horrible fitment, I got the coolant system on. All I need now is to get my drive shaft stuffed, and steal the oil filter/adapter off of my 1990.

Its been awhile since my last update. After i got the car running I realized I had no brakes. After a full brake rebuild and abs bypass the car is now running driving and inspected. Also I had to modify my e cluster to work for now. Next up is getting speakers in so I can get the interior straightened out. After that is a full suspension rebuild (hopefully with shocks and springs)

Just pulled the trigger in a set of Bfg force super sports. The price was right and it gave me a reason to pick up some adapters for these.
