    Finally.

After looking for an E30 for the past 3 years, I found one that I think is right for me. Here it sits in all it's glory on a set of original bottle caps and semi-dryrotted tires. The guy I bought it from told me that was only the second set of tires that had ever been on the car, like that was a good thing.

It is a 5 speed manual 1992 318i, obviously convertible. It has been driven enough to keep the battery charged and it has new brake rotors/pads/lines and a completely new AC system. Here is the kicker, 81,468 original miles.

The interior is tan, and in really good condition. Crack-free dash and all that.

My other car is a 2010 Le Mans Blue 135i, 6 speed, lots of stuff done to it. So here is my new little family all together

And a couple pictures with the SSR wheels I had on the 135i. I'm selling them to help pay for the E30.

The E30 is going to be the new project. Not much is wrong with it but I already ordered a new top. The old one had a crack in the rear plastic windshield and a few tears where rain could easily get it. But you guys won't see much of the top. I bought a vert for it to be a vert, so the top is going to be down unless I'm getting burned or drenched in rain.

I'm planning to keep this car pretty simple. Low, but hopefully still clean. First thing I plan to buy are Ground Control Coilovers, but if anyone knows of anything that will go lower, let me know. I'm still learning about how E30s work suspension-wise. Next will be wheels and some interior work like steering wheel, shift knob, maybe some different fabric. I'll definitely need a short shift kit soon, shifting this thing sucks right now. Its so loose and travels way too far.

Anyway, most of you will be like lol didnt read but for those of you who did read the whole thing, thanks.

Oh yeah, and what the fuck is the name of this color?

Is it just me, or are a lot of Laguna 'verts popping up recently?

A crack free dash? Was it replaced or just kept in great condition?

Thanks for the info, this one is the only one I've ever seen in person. I looked for a vert for a while but every one I found was red with a tan interior lol

Haha thanks, and you will eventually. Yes, that is a scissor lift flush-mounted in the floor haha. My dad has a nice garage, I just like to use it more than him.

the guy told me everything is original on the car minus the brakes and AC. It has the original dash and the original top. He only drove it 10,000 miles in the past 10 years (second owner) and he kept it in a garage all the time.

Car looks very clean, just from the looks (what more can you tell from looking at pictures) it looks like you bought a good E30 there.
                    Those are already so rare...

Congrats, can't beat a cabrio for fair-weather driving. As for suspension, read up on X-braces. I'm not using one yet, but I've read good things about them, especially for verts. If you decide to get one, Mason and Raceskids make them or you can retrofit one from an e36.
