New shifter bushings will make a night and day difference, simply throwing a short shifter in there without replacing the 20 year old bushings will make it worse!

Hey, you don't want that, you want a 6 cylinder!! We trade...you never know...except mine has 105k on the clock (and an auto). Just did the timing belt and water pump, you could eat off the water pump.

      Very cool find!! congrats!!

Hadn't even thought about that haha thanks! I'm still deciding what to do first, I'm between like 5 different things.

hahaha I'd rather have a 5 speed 4 cylinder than any other motor with an automatic. Nice ride though 8-)

Eventually planning on an M series swap though

with the weight issue/ distribution, a heavy mill up front probably helps the handling. course 300+ ponies are always welcome.

True, but this car won't be for go really anyway, it'll just be fun to have it. I hope this doesn't offend too many of you, but I did not buy this car for it to be functional. I mean really, its a 4 cylinder cabrio lol

Amazing find. Keep her and never let go. And I'm glad you're planning on not modifying it to death. Nice 135i and a sweet garage setup too :)

haha Thanks man! I can't stand driving a stock car though, and I just said something about an engine swap and you said I'm not planning on modifying it to death?

anyway, thanks for the kind words about both cars guys!
