    The Shark ate my baby!!!

Came out of the basement of the garage this past weekend and thought this was a kinda funny site to see.

The orange straps were used when the Kubota picked up the car and carried it like a prize fish out of the garage basement (the family calls it the Garage-mahal). The E30 is nothing but a shell now with a driver's seat.

The 1988 M6 now sits in its place. I'll take some more pics of the E24 once I finish doing some maintenance on it.

That's a sick looking shark. I can see why you got rid of the E30 for it :)

Umm... cos its a 3000+ square foot garage with 4 large bays (i.e. swallows an F-350 or Donzi 23" speed boat with no effort) on the top floor and 2 super-sized bays (i.e. swallows a tractors pulling a 7" hedge hog with room to spare for a bull dozer or excavator).

Its the tits... bottom has entry out the back, top has entry out the front. Most if it is my father-in-laws... but I got plans for my own Garage-mahal one day.

Im hoping to daily drive it a bit this year once I get the simple maintenance stuff out of the way, then over the winter get the engine up to a NA 350-380 horses at the crank (mostly with VAC Motorsports add-ons and rebuild stuff). Then it will be my spring/summer daily driver.

Fortunately there is enough similarity here with the S14 that I can still stick with R3Vlimited because Roachfly people still don't seem to know a lot, minus Steve Haygood.

hahaha... wasn't I just like "Fuck yeah baby! I'm gonna go fuck my wife now!"

Am I the only one out there who gets wood from cool cars?

In certain areas where the ground is really soft you need a basement to support a larger house and since the basement is kinda sucky (clammy and cool because its technically underground) its often best suited for non-living spaces.

They arent that popular here in KS because right below the ground is either water or rock.
                      Im now E30less.

                        ^ what he said...

I live in the rolling hills of SE PA, where you sometimes come across rock, but mostly under the top soil is just clay.

Where I live, if you don't have a basement it is because you live in a trailer or a cheap pre-fab house. And not all basements are "kinda sucky". Mine is finished and Has my office, my kids' play room, a large rec. room and bar, and some nice dry storage areas. Adds about 1200 sq. feet of liveable space to the house.

My dad has a basement garage. The prior owner of his house collected old 'Vettes. There is room in his basement garage for 6-7 cars lined up in two rows. He has a "regular' three car garage on the other end of his house on the upper level. He keeps his "work" truck (I put it in quotes, because he is retired) and tractors and other equip in the basement. I have stored my cabby there in the winters in the past. I wish I had his garage. I'd install a lift in it and be in heaven!!!

That is awesome. Someday I want a garage that rivals living space.
