I think its going to look great. I'm leaving the trim, mouldings, door handle, locks and bumpers black, smoking the tail lights. It needs the right amount of contrast, otherwise I think it will look out of place.

Interesting move with the blue; may look very nice with proper application. I only wish I had access to the resources most of you so called "low budget" guys have, that are able to perform full resprays for peanuts.
