its cheap to do your own painting. $100 for supplies (gloves, sandpaper, paint suits etc), $150 for a used compressor, $80 for paint, hardener and reducer.
The only real killer is the labour, your going to be spending hours and hours sanding, bondo, more sanding, taping everything, blah blah, and then you get to paint for about 45 minutes.
