          3. Because the stock shift boot didin't fit right (fell down near the top where it reaches the nob) with shift nob pictured; and the shift nob is impossible to get off, if I want to take the boot off now I can just unzipper it a little.

          4. Because say for example one of the window switches stops working or the window circuit breaker switch is stuck down; I don't even have to take off the boot, I can just unzipper it and slip my hand in.

          5. Because no one else has this on their e30.

          6. Because racecar.;)

                      It's not my style, but I can appreciate it. I think I'd like it better if it was silver instead of bronze, to match the Knob.
