Whew, finally finished moving. I now have a garage! Things will be getting done much quicker now. New parts going in this week:

Condor (silence) motor and tranny mounts.
Alpina 2.7 chip

And I'm trying to decide on a new color. It's primered right now. I'm leaning toward a darker grey.

Also now that I have an e34 daily I can work more steadily as well.

but if you put the 2.7 crank into the 2.5-- it is now magically a stroker. stroker sounds cooler than "I put a better flowing head with a but more aggressive cam on my car."- if you had an ETA car.

A stroker is when you replace the crank with a different stroke (longer or shorter). This is the only commuity i've seen use the term stroker for a head swap. Cause nothing was changed, only the head! For as long as i've been on here, i've never understood that....

I'm 100% with you. Maybe one day people will start calling it an 885 head swap. For some reason, I just can't stand it when people refer to it as a stroker.

Weird. Okay, my mistake. Stroked always meant something else anywhere else, but I assumed, because you were changing the stroke and bottom end of a b25 that would cause the usage of the word "stroker".

I can't untuck the bumper to get it off to drill correctly. I can drill upside down I suppose

No, I used 2" long lag bolts through the top of the airdam into the bumper.

You did a bracket? I was thinking I could just get a multi-perforated metal bracket and line it up as best as possible. It would work for the sides and bumper, I believe.

You don't happen to have pictures, do you?

Oh, one more thing! How can I mount the sport valence on tucked bumpers? Drill new holes in the metal bumper? Maybe I can do some sort of bracket.....

That is what I did. You have to trim a tiny bit on each side by the bumper shrouds. I wish I could have had the stock breakaway clips...but they all broke away long before I got it.
