only occurence here was power going out for 30+ hours. weird enough it occured after she passed.... all e30s had to go outside to put the vettes in the stable. put them where no tree could reach and made out very well.. sorry about your damage!

Update: After fighting a long battle with State Farm Auto Insurance I received a check for $3,561.46. They first tried to total the car. They they claimed it was worth $3,600. I finally convinced them to source additional data from eBay and AutoTrader to "up" the value to something a hell of a lot more reasonable and they settled on $6,800 as the "book value" of the car. With that new value, I was able to get them to repair the car instead of totalling it.

Items included in the repair estimate:
-- Roof ding
-- Huge dent to trunk, rear spoiler, right rear quarter panel
-- Rear bumper trim
-- Right rear tail light (cracked)
-- Huge dent to hood
-- Misc. areas to blend and paint due to small surface scratches

I'm going to replace the trunk and hood with VIS carbon stuff. For now I will leave them unpainted and maybe paint them later. The rear quarter panel will be fixed as well as the other minor paint areas. I'm not sure on if I want a rear spoiler again. I might wait to see how the carbon trunk looks and possibly try to source an M Tech I black spoiler.

The car goes to the shop next week. It may be a couple of weeks until I have some solid pics, but I will update.
