Same way as they normally would, Arm rests just have to be up & they don't interfere at all.

So glad I'm not the only one with a custom fit dash mat! I found mine in a junkyard car, nice expensive one, too. Fits perfectly, the guy at the yard gave it to me free.

Those armrests are OEM. I'm pretty sure I've seen several E30 M3's with those from the factory.
