the brakes.. I mean.. Im trying to think how much power you'd need to live up to them..

.. if anything they fit pretty nicely behind your wheels, the car looks pretty awesome.

We need a full ass shot so we can see just how wide those rears are.

Quite a set of wheels though.
I've had good luck with the 'cheap' coilovers on 2 separate non-bmw's, And I even use *gasp* rota wheels on my autocross car, so my glass house is ready for some target practice. Those brakes look positively brutal, make me happy in the pants. They seem a bit overmatched for the tires though.

Overall, in my worthless opinion I give it an 8.5/10. There are so many poorly modified and just plain beat up E39's by me, it's nice to see a clean, slick, sexy example. The polished wheels you picked add class without that cheap bling factor.

If it works it works, I just don't like the idea of skimping on suspension I guess. Not a big deal.

I am of the belief that anything over 6 pistons on most street cars is really for bragging rights. 12 piston brakes seem like they are more for show than anything, which is fine, they look sweet... but it is a lot of extra unsprung mass, a lot of money for specialized pads and it would take forever to get some heat in them if you ever found any serious pads.

lol, I am going to steal that.
