    Why?

It's a non-M 3 series, BMW built like 800,000 of them. They're not exactly rare.

Being a purist doesn't really have much to do with the rarity of the object at hand. Like i mentioned, props for the meticulous installation, but for me BMW engines have a certain style, sound and balance that can't be replicated. It's a fine line, and i have decided to make the call on this one *shrug*.

      It's a car.

4 seats, 4 tires, made of metal, and not really all that pretty. It's not like it's red and italian. The M20 is a nice peice of 1970's engineering. Poor low end, decent midrange, decent high end with a lot lying on the table.

Swing wild, brake later, don't apologize.

Does this mean i am not allowed to have my own opinion considering this [aforementioned description] car ?

Very good looking car. I am starting to like cars with other engines more and more.

I think after my turbo project a Chevy v8 is going to find a home in my next e30.

Clean swap, and nice work on the front valence.

Awesome indeed, original no. There is/was a company that does sr20 e30 conversions.

That's a nice looking car. I don't like the lower front fascia a lot but it does its job.

                    What rims are though?

                      Diggin the car.

TJ they look like Volk SE37K, when I found out they come in 4x100 and 16" I've started to think I want them when I spend money on nice wheels. They are very sexy in my opinion, but expensive.

Those aren't Volks. But the SE37 is a sweet rim. I was THIS close to buying real TE37's for my car... but spending almost $2,500 on rims for a $4,500 car is so stupid I couldn't even justify it for myself. My rims are only 1lb more and cost all 4 cost about the same price as 1 Volk :)

Thanks, guys, I knew some people would have an issue with the engine, but I'm not a purist and better power to weight ratio than an e36 M3 is hard not to resist. And an extra 100+kw available with some bolt ons will make it even more fun down the track.
