I was in two minds a few weeks ago and the only thing that put me off was the seats being tan comfort (a bit too comfy for driving if you get me!) seats and I then thought what the hell, I want a 4 door E30 and there ain't much better or on a level with this...so before I bought car the iS coupe front sears were sourced. Now I'm so happy, yeah it lacks a 100bhp less than the E36 but in time this car will become a reconised E30 and my dream has been to own an incedible E30 with a 24v swap. It will be going to the Nurburgring before the swap, and I'll set a time...cam belt due in april :) the engine is quiet and responsive. So I'm sure it'll be fine :)

Then I'll start the swap when I have all the bits with my brother and then I'll do the same. I'm really excited now I have it. Before I bought it I was in two minds, and after a "what the hell" and "only live once decision" I bought it! I had it next to my mates 318is coupe today and the 4 door is unique and looks so much more classic and subtle.

I don't know what to say, I have a car as old as myself and a VERY fast other car and I am feeling the E30 buzz again. I'm glad I took the jump :) Lets hope all goes spiffingly and the 24v is done within next few months by christmas time ;)

I took the ///M badge off carefully and then residue with tar and glue remover. I was going to take it off, but the boobie tassle (looks like end of a curtain or something) looks hilarious...aparently it wards of travel demons or something (not too sure though) but its character...it doesn't swing near exhaust so no risk of fire either. Its character ;)
