These cars don't get very good traction with stock hp.....

edit: and once my car gets painted I'll be looking to trade for a clean EG hatch. What would be the price differences in these cars?

I purchased my hatch bone stock with a blown motor for $1500 10 hours away from where I live. Since then I painted it Championship White (Dupont Croma base), Shaved and tucked the engine bay, tucked harness, D2 36 way Damp/Adj., K1's on Nitto 01's Traction bars, 98' Spec Type R swap with a 4.785 LSD trans, Semi built head, Tuned by me on Hondata making roughly 200 whp. A setup like mine would sell for between 9-10k. I have almost $14,000 into the car and owned it for almost 4 years now. I changed the motor setup 3 times (was a 450whp turbo car at one point). A clean swapped hatch with a Gs-R/B16 will go for $5-$6k depending on condition.

Here is my other DD. (Ready for the comments). I would rather not post pictures of my Hatch due to the criminals in my area.

Welcome to the forums and e30's.

Hope your project goes as planned and I hope you learn to love e30's.

Please don't wreck it. I have seen too many stories of someone getting one and losing control and totaling them. Be careful with rear wheel drive
Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

Smoke the fogs and lights, get bily sports and more low, rims and a good wax job = car dun. I would allso recomend a 3:91 lsd not a 4:10 for a good DD.

I live in west Seneca. I bought from someone a block away. I got it for a nice price. You have most likely seen me around, I have the white hatch and the Integra above. I also have had green hatches and a couple white integras since I have been in this area. The car scene here sucks a hard one and everyone copies eachother it seems like. Since my white hatch was built, two others I know of painted their car the same color and try to copy/follow.

I'm not too into the "smoked" look and it will be lowered slightly. Then eventually I will buy some wheels when it gets warmer out.

uh oh... happy camper!! haha. i think people just get mad becuase this is an bmw e30 forum. and ur talking about your honda... JDM and euro cars enthusiast are two different worlds. and those worlds dont mix well. (from my experience at least) our car meets are people admiring eachothers car and just hanging out, at the JDM meets all you here is the sounds of fart can exhaust, and people reving their shit and being loud and obnoxious and doing burnouts and donuts. last good looking japanese car i saw was my 1988 nissan pick up truck. but a car is a car. an enthusiast is an enthusiast. and im glad u came here. we can always use a new face around!!!
