    As an iX owner, I don't mind that non iX's put iX moldings on the car. The iX is rare yes, but its not really... dare I say, anything too special?

    You should go for it! But you need some more dish now.
    you can do it without punching any holes - there are big clips that hold the underside of the sideskirts on, and a couple screws at the corners of the flares. the top seams are held on with a really sticky 3M body tape. If you apply that correctly (it has to be CLEAN), you'll have a really hard time getting it off, even without the grommets installed. But if you wanted to get it off you could without damaging anything.
