Just got back to San Diego.
The fire thankfully wasn't too out-of-control, the kid next door smelled the smoke, came down, and called the FD immediately. The fire was caused by the neighbor dumping barbeque charcoals in the trash can....
A5's damage wasn't horrible, but the paint's all fucked up and brown (white car). Also the windows are all burnt, mostly smoke damage, although part of his door is black. Really lucked out: if that thing had ignited, so would have my E30, and my aunt's home...

Back for Thanksgiving break right now, and a week and half after I leave, I'll be back for over a month. Got some work done today, started mounting my brand new OEM mud flaps with pops. Gonna save the iS lip install till winter break when I'll have all the time in the world. Gonna leave it off all winter though since I'll be taking this thing to the Sierras, and maybe even all the way up to Whistler, British Columbia...

Thanks bro. Haha, do you remember how to put the fronts on properly? I secured those weird "s-shaped" brackets down, and the bottoms go snug underneath that flap. However, how many bolts actually connect the front flaps to the bracket? And drilling required?

The bottom fits snug somehow onto the body, but there are also bolts to connect under there with a bracket for more "insurance" I'd say? It should be bolted either way. 2 I believe.

No drilling should be required, they all bolt into holes that should already be there factory

This morning I finished installing the fronts (thanks Ryann!) and painted, installed my iS lip.
Sooo happy with how it looks with the iS lip, and now with the front mud flaps.
When finals are over in 11 days, I'll be back home and will install the rear mudflaps, completing my car's new look. Pretty content.
