E30's with Mudflaps

To the people mentioning that mudflaps attract dirt which causes rust I disagree with you. Well, I agree with you in the sense that dirt+water=mud+snow+salt does =rust. But as long as you wash your car properly then there is no harm to the car.

Part numbers for OE mud guards are:

72 60 1 906 952 fronts all excl. vert/IX
72 60 1 953 292 convertible fronts
72 60 9 401 168 rears all late model, possibly excl. IX not sure

Anyone have PN's for early rears & IX?

Not sure if Blunt (blunttechclassic.com) can get them but I know that bavauto.com has the above sets and ecstuning.com has the rears only.

The only flaps that trap moisture are the OEM style ones that "hug" the corner of the fender, other flaps that just rest against it dont trap anything.

How much do you think they're worth - I was just going to remove them anyway.
