    Some new pics

    The rims/tires I got as a gift. Enkei 16x7.5 w/ BF Goodrich Comp T/A's 215/50/16.

Remember its an ix, so its actually lowered (h&r's with bilstein hd). Mtech2 Replica Valences front and rear.

Just a beginner at this photography biz, so excuse the blurryness in some of the night ones. Have them all in higher res if anyone wants.

(Oh, and before you start bashing the headlight, I had the lens off trying to clean it and I dropped it. Had other things to spend money on till now, new highbeam will come soon.)

How thick are the spring pads in the front?

Nice car but as you might suspect, most people here wont' dig the wheels. Would the person who gave them to you be offended if you sold them and bought something nicer? :)

Apparently yes. He had type E's he sold to keep these. They don't look half as bad though, and the tires fill the wheel wells nicely(nicer than the type e's)

about 1/4" total but I think it ends up lowering the car slightly more than that. the rears are really thick, I actually only took out the tops.

Unfortunately yeah.. what bmwm5lover said. My original plan was to keep both sets of rims, and run these on the track and use my Borbets on the road. But I ran into some money troubles and had to make a choice. I felt bad selling a gift, the guy did me a favour just giving them to me for free. So I made a judgment call and sold the other ones. I dont mind these that much though, they are slowly growing on me,\.

I love the ride height. I'm not a big fan of the wheels, but the stance is hot. I would leave the spring pads right where they are.

                        Nice ethical decision

Car looks good!! Dont see too many IX's that look like yours.
Do you have any opportunitys to use the all wheel drive??
                        Perhaps in the winter months??

You mind me asking where you picked up the replica Mtec 2 front and rear??

                        Nice work!
