    2.7 stroker on the dyno

    I am pretty happy with the numbers I put down on the dyno today! I don't like the way my torque curve looks but I'm hoping that with an actual tune it gets a lot better. Right now it is just making about as much power as an m20b25 which saddens me a little.

    Mods:
    2.7 bottom end w/ 885 stock head
    272 cam
    eGay headers
    Ostrich 2.0 running some generic tune

    Video:

    The smoke at the end is from an exhaust leak. One of the header tubes is too close to the stud and I can't get a bolt on it. So it is pretty bad.

                You're not running a super eta bottom end? Your compression is lower than a stock b25. Get the Alpina tune on a chip if you can.

                  I am running the flat top pistons. 8.5:1 CR. I have the Alpina tune on my computer, but there is a lot missing from the tune. There are empty cells, numbers that dont belong, etc. Ran it for a day and hated it.

                        What is the total combustion chamber volume (in CCs) including headgasket and deck clearance?

                          Lol 8:1.

                          B25=8.8:1 seta=8.5:1 eta/885=8.43:1

                          I shaved my head. 018" and run .051" gasket on eta bottom with 885 head. Need to get back on dyno before finishing the new motor.

                            I dyno'd 151hp and 150 tq on a stock m20 2.5 with 200k miles on a DynoJet. My 2.7i SuperETA with 885 head, cam, etc etc put down 165hp and 160tq. I made power all the way to my 6500 redline. What flywheel are you running? Are those 17inch wheel? If so, are they heavy? I think thats also hurting your tq.
