Here´s my Touring (nome carinhoso).

She have came in a state ... :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: .... of misery.

Meanwhile the recovery, it´s almost done.

Here´s my baur


but with this rims:




I bought the car in 2 hand, and it´s going to have a huge revision.
Changing
Timing belt
water pump
cleaning the engine head
replacing burned out valves.
every kind of oil swapped (Gearbox, Transmission, brakes....)
New bushes from powerflex
Brakediscs by tarox G88

The car is a "320i", but with the 323i engine.

Now those are two cars you don't see everyday. I normally hate baurs, but yours looks pretty good.

I absolutely hate Baur's... just for the fact that every singe cabrio E30 we got here in sunny South Africa is one... we never did get the proper folding roof :(

Also u just got an M-Tech 2 front valance ;)

I gotta admit u doen some nice work to the E34, looking very nice... and the E30 is also very clean !!

I forgot to mention that the original interior, the seat were in cloth, a grey one.
I´ve leather all the way.
Im thinking of put the roof black also, but i have some problems with that thing that blocks the sun (don´t know the english word for it), and for the hold grip... (the passengers they tend to stick to it(it´s on the roof). They are white, and spraying them black... hum... with the sweat from the hands... dont think so

I want to upgrade. In my previous car, i had focal (165V2), but the speakers of the touring are 130mm, so i sold them.

damn a td e34 touring. that would be perfect here right now, since out gas prices are going up (probably low compared to yours though).

how do you like the size of the e34 vs the e30? I'm thinking of picking one up in a few years, need to do some test drives first. not sure if I'll be comfortable with the size difference

I have test driven 2 252iT tourings. I like them a lot. I want to get one later down the road. I'd surely buy a 525tds if they were available here. Not because of gas prices alone but perhaps to tow a lil e30 project around, do parts hauls etc I think 192ft.lbs@2200 Rpm and 143hp is enough to do so.

That´s exactally what i have in the Baur

Compare:



Compare the bottom of the rear bumper, and the skirts.
They look a lot the same.
The seats, are the sports ones. The ones that the from of the seat is adjustable.

About the rims. Don´t know the model :(
they are 17", and the rims i gonna put are 14".
In portugal, the maximum allowed for the E30 is 15".

Nah, man... That rear valance and the side skirts look different, the valance looks like it sticks out more than the M-Tech 2, and the side skirts aren't flush like the M-Tech 2... see the M-tech 2's go straight down, where ur's seem to jut out.

Just one thing, don't take it that I don't like ur car... I think it's really nice looking and different...seeing as every second guy over here has a M-Tech 2 on their cars

Also... hehe just too nit pick, u don't have the bumper covers from the M-Tech2 or the door pods :shock: :(

yeah, the sideskirts look more like the ones off the iX, only without the fender flares... the rear valance kinda looks RD?

either way it looks good. eta bottom end in the baur or ban! :D
