    New Member From NYC Area

    so this is my 1st BMW ever and my 2nd car ever, i use to own a 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer but times got rough and my job though it was a great idea to cut back on work days.=/ long story short..i got rid of it and got myself a 1989 325i ,and im so FREAKING HAPPY I GOT IT! feels wayyy better more of a raw power to it and plus this is my first 5SPD car and i LOVE it i love that YOUR in control of the car. well enough typing ...

    so far i blackedout the chrome parts

    cleaned the interior carpet...before

    i hope i can learn form everyone here and i wonder if theres any groups out here in NY.. recently my car has been misfiring =( and revs to 500rpm to 1500 rpm n shuts off...then sometimes shuts off on me at a red light i clean the IAC still does the same thing it gave me a Check engine light and a 1252 code i checked the injectors they are firing fine(so no need to check the injector harness)n im getting spark also . im just stumped , can anyone help? plus my fuel gauge is going outa wack , keeps flickering lol...help?! plz...thank you,

          lol yeah the dude was cool about everything he even changed the oil pan but it cracked and his steering fluid reservoir wasnt tight...do u know the guy?hes from Long island as well

              Misfire could be the plug wires, or worn cap/rotor.

                        Welcome to the E30 world! Good to see there's another E30 rolling around queens. I can't help you with that issue u got, still in noob training but there are some well knowledgeable people on this forum that can help and there's threads for everything on here.

                        But if all fails you can hit up my three favorite E30 gurus, e30 fa life (Rohan, this guy has a shop in floral park), blunttech (Steve owners BluntTech and is always helpful, plus always has ur parts) and ZM Blue Devil (Levent who owns Guten Parts out in NJ. great dude and pretty much has everything or can get it.)

                          thanks bro i appreciate it, nice is there anymore members from queens?n im always around astoria cuz my girl works at planet fitness on stineway .if you ever need to check out ur car or do something to it i have a boy who is opening a shop soon (he just has a few tools n 2 lifts) in LIC he can let us use the lifts , n good looking out on the e30 gurus ill deff hit them up for this situation

                            I might have to take you up on that offer. My clutch went out on me. Not sure if it's my Clutch MC or SC or tanny or clutch. I live right off of 21st street.

                              ohhh yeah not a problem my boys shop is on 52 n vandam street by laguardia community college i have class from 530-1030 so anytime b4 530 is good just let me know ahead of time so i can tell my boy that were coming by also saturdays im free whole day so just get back to me.
