New to E30s - M20 swapped 318

    Are you sure the engine is not a m20b27?
    Because the valve cover is from one. But the intake manifold is m20b25. You can easily check to know for sure by just looking at the head above the head shield and it will say 2.7 eta if it is. That or you can get the numbers off both the head and block. Could be a e block with i head. ...or he just used an eta valve cover for some reason.

        oops. thats what I meant - that the valve cover is m20b27, but the intake manifold is m20b25 - so the previous owner clearly did something strange - weither he just put a eta valve cover on an i motor or he put an i manifold on an eta or some other combination, we don't know, unless he checks the head and block castings.
