Yeah, i saw them standing there in the French countryside and just had to stop and take a picture. The deux chevaux was pretty decent, the ds had a lot of stuff missing, spiderwebs all over the interior and some bad rust.

I really to remember updating this thread once in a while

Car was is in storage for the winter months, when I got it out it wouldn't start, turned out to be the fuel pump. So i literally PULLED it out of storage

So I fixed the pump the next day and went for a drive.

Then it was time for some stuff I collected over the winter.

Original Hartge 16" wheels, including the spare wheel

              Freshly painted

Some friends and I got us a nice place to work on cars

So nice to be able to work on your car when it's raining outside!

Then the e30 failed it's yearly inspection, brake lines and rear subframe bushings were the main concerns. (knew it was coming, so I had the parts in stock already, just hadn't found time to install them yet)

Since I also got tired of the rear drum brakes I bought an other rear subframe

Might as well do it right the first time

Fueltank was also a bit rusty, so I cleaned up another one

Offcourse I filled the tank before going to fail the inspection :( So i let the new fuel pump pump it into the winter beater/daily driver/parts hauler Peugeot 106.

              New parts!

All new parts, new bushings, copper brake lines, steel brake hoses, and a camber/toe correction set.

              No more drum brakes!

Now I passed the inspection

Time to run AutoX agian, this is a once a year event in the netherlands unfortunately

              Best time was a 41,75, a guy I know ran a 41,43 with a M60 swap, so I guess having a light nose helps in a tight course :p

Sorry for the long post, i'll do my best to keep this thread updated a little better from now on!

Little update on this one, I installed some wheelstuds because I think they look better on these wheels.

Pulled the M-tech1 set from storage

                Started testfitting

And decided that the car needs some serious rust repair and a paintjob

                So let's inspect some more

Took the time to cut up a donor car to get some perfect-fitting sheet metal

Then I got it semi-roadworthy again, just to drive it to the guy who is going to fix al the rust.

                More updates when it's rustfree:D
