88's had metal bumpers, I presume someone swapped over the plastics

Later 88 models did come with plastics, so I have heard.

oh haha tnx guys. its an 89 not 88 lol, and its an automatic... I know.. MT is better but i really needed a car for dd while I replace the blown tranny on my other car. Also its already lowered with tokico shocks and springs and it came with those rims with brand new tires. The PO gave me the stockers though but the tires on those are worn out.
