Wow. Everything you do is completely nauseating.

..and by nauseating – I mean awesome.

And that ix is so nice – it’s disgusting.

.. and by disgusting – I mean that I am actually disgusted by how nice it is.

PLEASE PM me the highest fucking resolution pictures you have of your wagon.
Looking at your e46 wagon is kinda like having sex.

the center light is from an E32/E39 - I wired it directly to the left side door/courtesy light

So, whatever that light is switched to, the center light reacts the same

It is SO nice having light in front of me at night when getting in - the two lights that are on the sides are relatively dim and are blocked by head(s)

Tough decision on the seats--and I normally don't like interiors where the seats don't match--but I'm thinking those Recaros look pretty damned good in there. Comfortable too! There was an identical pair on cl here for $400 recently and they didn't last long.

Btw--what did you use for that overhead console light? Operates by the door switches only?

Thanks, that's helpful. I'm more interested in using the cig lighter adapter than the torch.

the e46 light socket is a very easy install - i used a dremel and removed the little nubs that the old light socket snaps into...if you dremel cautiously and keep test fitting you will get a really tight fit. that way the socket has to be pushed in with slight force and it wont come out at all when removing the light

luckily the old socket is almost the same size and it is the same shape

I've been investigating swapping the E46 glovebox socket myself - what was involved ?

Keep the Recaros - they look more like OEM than the E46 sports, though they may not be as comfy.

would folks on here keep those recaros or swap in the leather seats from one of my E46s - I have new Recaro Sportster CS in black leather for my Touring and the seats in that car are in perfect condition, full power sport seats (larger bolsters, etc)

going to be installing the headlight washer/wiper system - intensive wash system - soon

I am going to rebuild the transfer case to solve a leak

Then going to have to remove the head and install new head gasket - this thing leaks A LOT...
