    new breaks

well after a night of me and jay hanging out and working on my "dirty" e30. we have rebuilt the callipers, sprayed them silver, and we installed goodridge stainless steal lines, carbotech bobcat pads, brembo rotors, and wired the V1 up to the check panel to make space for the phone charger when needed. here are the pictures of the car afterwards...

and here is Jay's car and some goodies that he has laying around...

The brakes came out great Dave. They will be really easy to keep clean with rims that are that open too, just wipe them down with the sponge you clean your rims with each time you wash your car (after you wipe the rims off of course).

              RISING EDGE

Let's drive fast and have fun.

Thats a GMG Hood and there is possibility it will be going on sale here in the Near future. Bids?

The Mirrors are Factory BMW Gruppe A DTM mirrors, Yes they have a PN in them. and they probably won't be going on sale .... ever

The center Gauge cluster is an extremely rare piece. Mine is the only one i've ever seen. It was made by Hartge for one of their e30's thats about all I know. Never installed flawless i've had it for a couple years but i've never put it in for fear of damaging it. I've considered selling it but i'm not sure.

there is also a set of the BMW touring side skirts (commonly the IS skirts) just out of view. never installed and possibly for sale soon

I can get some more pics of any or all if anyone wants

                    Charlie, any specific view?

AND in case anyone was wondering the headlights are Cibie CSR's, the yellow fogs are Cibie airport 35's and their surrounded with eurogrills and an EVO kidney

ok the is sides i will prolly buy i would just need to see some

the hood i can do local pickup but as far as bids i don't know anything about GMG
how much does the hood weigh?
how much does it go for new??? us$

the gauge thing i like it since there isn't too many things we can do to put gauges in the car so i'd would be interested in that prolly too.

I can get some pics of the sides

GMG is Global Motorsports Group the is is right around 11 pounds and I believe there is only 5 of them floating around. New they were $1500.00

The Hartge gauge cluster is probably going to be more than you'll like.

PM me for more info and pics.

Goodjob on the brakes, those rear lines that run behind the subframe were fun i bet.

lol i have to admit, whenever somebody spells shit like that wrong, for me, it just instantly destroys their credibility.

TJ, those wheels are pretty fucking clean compared to when i first got them they were powder coated in brake dust. thanks for the help on paint selection. and as to the intermediate lines we couldnt get to them. they will be done at a later date in the next couple of months when we go to jay's shop and have the tools and the time to drop the rear subframe.
