went some while...done some minor things :D

decided to put polyurethane bushings for both sway bars and in front in sway bar links
    new;D

    spec tool for installation

some aluminium shattered out of head :D

    also welded water pockets, before...

    after

and now let's go to block
fresh hone oh yes, painted engine block, but paint was pretty shit, when washed block with hot high pressure water it striped some paint off

    almost assembled engine block

of course thinking of block assembling with transmission, take care of clutch releaser, changed clutch release ball pin, as you can see, old one is pretty worn out

    more updates soon :)

      ok,
engine block was assembled and married with gearbox, sit's like this

then It was time to work on cylinder head
..as I said, I welded water pockets, changed valve guides, done angle work, grinded 3 angle job for intake and so on.

plan was to use m43 engine intake valves, those valves in all measurements ar slightly longer, so I had to space valve springs, made spacers, this is how they looked @ start 1.4mm thickness

      after some while :D

      also shrotened valve stems -1.3mm

      assembled looks like this

as I am going to use better design intake valves, ''bigger'' camshaft, I made sure that exhaust gases will blow out freely, so lil bit more ported exhaust side.

intake left as It was at previous season

      stock vs mine

      assembled

also wrapped header, because they were heating up my engine bay

      looks like this now

so....working hard, want to fire it up as soon as possible :D

later installed all cooling system etc, done some test driving, of course driving not agressive now :D but few times reved up to about 6k revs, oh man... after 4k it starts to pull haaard, damn...can't wait when It can drive it propertly :D

Of course some updates is done with car :D
made new exhaust, now car become pretty silent (too silent) :(
                old one

and the new one, actually just changed front exhaust joints from headers to main exhaust and put silencer in. (all this actually only because police was not happy about the noise what makes my m20 stroker, don't know why though :D)

                on car

some engine bay shot. bought weichers front strut. Also made some heat shield for air filter, but its laying somewhere in garage right now :D

and this is how it looks now

                  wanna some brakes?

bought some crap to upgrade front brakes :D
new on left(57mm), stock e30 caliper on right (48mm)

just test fitting with some old front strut and with stock e30 brake disc,
inner side, looks good. this kit actually goes together with 288mm brake disc, e30 stock is 260mm as you know.

outside....not so good, pretty sketchy, but it will fit :) this is with 20mm spacers.

hmm, I think I don't need wheel balancing anymore

brake calipers will be refurbished and fitted together with audi 288mm brake discs.

othervise, nothing new, just some random snap :)

                    sooo, what's new...

changed lsd clutch discs, no wonder that sometimes it doesn't want to block both wheels until you event little bit kicked clutch :D
                    old plates

some random shot with lsd assembly

                    then readjusted valves

                    and then..
                    from this...

                    to thiiis!

and at the end, some random snap :D

                    stay tuned

Nice job man, i have a question to you: can u tell me what brake discs and callipers you are using for bigger brakes, is the calliper perfectly fits on E30s front strut, or u need some adapters
                      Thanks

                        thanks.
*Calipers together with brake caliper supports is from Ford Mondeo MK3 (about 2000-2007 years, they are the same for all engines)
*Brake discs is from audi a3, i think It was 1.8t model who has 288mm rotors, you should just redrill bolt pattern, because audi has 5x100 pcd, easy job.

supports etc will bolt on, just some minor modifications have to be done to disc brake dust protection and you maybe will need some small spacers between hub and caliper support.

I already have master cylinder from BMW e34, e34 has 60mm pistons @ front, so It should be ok for 57mm's too.

brake upgrade....ON :D dat non centering spacer is temporary, just for holding brake disc

                                pretty tight :D

like this, with 15'' wheel and 20mm spacer

I got to say, that difference is huuuuge, braking power is crazy :)
