Hey guys just picked this guy up last night for $650. Its a 1987 325E (Manual). Interior is in good shape leather is just cracked but no tears an the dash is mint condition. The front windshield needs to be replaced and I think either all of the console is shorted out or all of the window motors are shot. It drives pretty well except for it acts fun in 5th. It also likes to rev randomly while idling. If y'all could put your input in for some of these issues I'm all ears this is my first BMW and I have 0 knowledge about them. My short term goal is to replace the bumpers with M-tech Front, Side, and Rear. Switch the headlights to projectors, new suspension, and after reading a few articles I want to stick with the M20 for now and maybe get the head ported and polished with a cam and a chip. My current daily is a 2010 S4 which I love but I'd really like to keep the miles off it. Anyways nice to meet you all and I look forward to your input and opinion with this build.

    2010 S4

Closest shop I know in your area is Dave's Foreign Car Service on S Elm Street in Denton. Its just south of the square. Other reputable shops are Fifth Gear Motorsports in Lewisville & Eurosport Automotive in Plano.

Any idea when the timing belt & water pump was replaced? Thats a good starting point for you. :D

You can open the hood from the front through the driver side grill.
