    4 X 4 ride height no more

I have slowly been peicing the car together and getting it up to spec as far as a dd goes. Last weekend I finally got time to install new springs. After driving on them for about a week they were a great choice as the car is not too low to prevent daily driving duties but still retains the stance I was looking for. Next are some fatty 225/50's to stuff under the wells! Pics to come.

Feels good to get rid of the monster truck springs doesn't it?

Last week I had Guten slap on some H&R sports with Bilstein HD shocks. It's like driving a totally different car.

Oh it def. is a different car. I had replaced shocks and struts about a month before, and now the vogtlands. Corners wonderfully, stiffer response.

ha. I've got to drive her over incredible pot holes and speed bumps without notice. Therefore opted for this ride height and nothing prone to oil pan damage.

what suspension did you get? not trying to be rude but it looks stockish to me. then again I haven't seen a stock e30 in quite some time.

Just Vogtland springs. The car came down close to an inh and a half. Before it was outrageously high so this is a welcome improvement both for handling andy bank account as well

They probably didn't settle yet, as they go much lower than that.

Yeah, that is still up in the air, but as long as you like it... Meaty tires will help fill the gap.

I was hoping they would settle lower than currently. What. Affects the period of time to settle lower?

Drive the car alot and everything will settle faster

not with the HDs they wont. i think that's a pretty good ride height anyway.
