I hate that you did this to a delphin, but I love the look.

The car will get a full suspension refresh and drop in the summer. The original paint was faded on the top half of the car and some parts of the side panels. Otherwise I would have just tried to paint match and blend the repaired area.

Came out great for a backyard paint job IMO

I like it. I think I'm going to flat red my auto. The paint is messed up real bad on most of the car, and I don't really feel like saving up for a real paint job.

              Thanks for the idea...

Do it! If you use the paint I did get some pink dot fat caps or euro fats caps. It will make the spray pattern wider and smoother. But be careful when choosing the paint color, they can be lighter or darker then advertised. My brother used the "intense red" color to paint his jeep and it ended up being more of an orange than red.

Ok. What brand did you use, and what do you mean by get pink dot fat caps or euro fat caps?

I will be very sure to check the colors. The clear on my car is gone over most of the hood, roof, and trunk. The thing is it looks good to me when it is wet. So I figure I'll try to match the color as close as possible, and use a matte clear.

The paint I used is called Montana 94, it has a matte finish so theirs no need for clear. The pink dot and euro fat caps are just different caps you put on the can. These caps give you a bigger spray than the cap that comes with the paint.

This is where I got the paint. http://artprimo.com/catalog/spray-pa...-c-26_142.html

                      Here's info on the caps.

Cool, also check to see if you can get the paint locally before you order. Because of the shipping restrictions it can get somewhat pricey if you live far from their warehouse.

Looks Good. Almost looks like the old Fjord blue found on the early 70's BMWs.
