Hey, just joined the forum today. I've had E30s for a few years now and often find myself referencing the tech forums here. I have 2 E30s right now. One is my 1990 325i 24 hours of Lemons car (Poor Boys Racing). The second is another 1990 325i converted to electric. You can check out the electric car build here:

More electric car pics. I have been driving this car to work just about every day. My commute is only 5 miles though. The range is around 30 miles and the car will go highway speeds without any issues.

the elctric e30 is sick! does it still use a bmw 5 speed trans?

I read somewhere that electric motors fuk up multi-geared transmissions, thats why cars like the Tesla use one speed transmissions.
