Not sure why... I ran 225s on 16s and had equal and it never rubbed. 16x8 et20 with 225.45.16. As said I will add a lot of camber once at the track but this was only a test fitment. Something around stock camber. I'll get over 3 once I max them out.

Here is previous with 2.5ish front camber. I drove it HARD and even Auto-X. Never rubbed.

If lucky, the E36 will die peacefully, in its natural habitat, and be given the prestigious honor of donating its parts to an E30

6-spd eh? Interesting... What drive-shaft and clutch kit did you need to use?

            Looks great!

              It's a hodepodge... I'll find out.

Yesh. Has a 6sp. I guess it's more like a rat rod based on it's looks and then performance. I never wash it... unless it rains.

The only way I could see a rub issue would be diving into a turn while hard parking, other than that it should be good. Are your fenders rolled? i thought early models have "more" of an interior lip than later models.

Looks so fun Halston! You driven on slicks before?

Not on full blown slicks but I used to drive on the Hankook Z214 in the sticky compound. It was very close to a slick in terms of performance and operation. Should be fun. I am used to tracking an E36 so it will take some sessions to get dialed in.

Look forward to hearing how you like them. I only asked about the slicks because I have never been on a road course with them. Have fun man and be safe
