    Shadowlined my car!

    hey guys,
    I finally got around to shadowlining the window trim on my car. I removed all of the pieces first, then primed and painted, and reinstalled. I used SEM self etching primer, and SEM trim paint. It turned out pretty good in my opinion. All opinions welcome.

    here is a pic of the work in progress

        How big of a PITA was putting it back on?

          that shadowline makes your car look much much better id say. good job on that... i'm eventually gonna have to do this also... i juss gotta bitch myself into doin it haha.

            Removing the trim was no problem. Putting most of the trim was no problem either. Putting the long trim piece back on was a little tricky though. I takes just the right amount of pulling/twisting to get it to snap back into place.

              The biggest piece of advice I can give to anybody wanting to do the same thing, is to go to your local junkyard, and practice there. That way, if you don't know what you are doing, and mess up some of the trim pieces, it doesn't matter. I must have pulled the trim pieces off probably 5 or 6 e30s at the Pick-N-Pull before I even tried to remove mine.
