Picked up my first e30

I've wanted an e30 for awhile so when one came up in my area i jumped on it. Here is my 87 325es
Has some problems, leaks a tiny bit of oil, needed a new trunk. I think the icv is acting up, i cleaned it and it idled better but still was sparatic, might be the hoses. The interior and body are in super good shape.
Just needs lots of little things. So far i've ordered a water pump, timing belt and tensioner, plugs and wires, changed the valve cover gasket, working on getting an exhaust. power steering doesn't work either, it doesn't have a belt so i'm hoping that's all it is. Probably not.
I plan on getting it running real good over the next two months, and then around June my buddy is helping me do an "I" head swap, then in the fall when i get some more student loan money i will be putting a turbo kit on it. gme your i feel over whelmed haha

Why not just wait till you do the I swap for tonight belt, water pump, tensioner and all that? Pointless to take it all apart 2 times.. My opinion..

idk, i figured i'd do it now because i don't know the last time it's been done. I'll be driving it for the next two months, and from Florida to Michigan once when i move back up there. i mean realistcly i'll probably put 4k or less miles on it

Nice Craigslist find. I had my eye on this car but could no justify having a third BMW at the house right now. You can find a trunk at the ACE pick-a-part on N. Main St. in JAX. or the Normandy Blvd. Junk Yard in JAX.

If you can, try to come out to the Wild Wings Cafe off South Side Blvd. tomorrow night @ 6:30. A few of the E30 community guys meet there every Tues. night.

Also for an 87. Its missing the gas lines that runs over to the A/C line.

Also the es came with an Mtech1 wheel. Doesn't look like this one has one..

It's luxor beige metallic. not sure if i like it or not haha.
Maybe it is an "E" the sticker said (E) (ES)
picked up a trunk the other day, sanded it and painted it semi gloss black, not the best but will have my buddy paint it good when i go back to michigan.
