            Any ideas as to what my issue with central locking may be?

            I've re soldered that resister that breaks away from the main circuit board but it still isn't working. Suggestions?

                            Yup, was an absolute steal, the guy I bought it off was a BMW mechanic for 30 years and had owned the car for 5. I still ask him questions about the car he happily helps me out with.

                              IIRC the "325i sports" from across the pond came with a special dogleg G260 with close ratio 1st-3rd. You going to try and find one of those for the manual conversion or just go with the regular 260?

                                I think just a regular 260. I enjoyed it in the old 323.
                                I have a feeling the autobox is fairly close ratio as I can be in first and still be doing almost 80 at 5/6 grand.
